hgtv behind the scenes
The spotlight has faded, my room is back to normal, (which means my desk is again covered in beads.) I thought I'd give you a picture of the guys behind the scenes. The ones, I completely blame for any foolishness that makes it on air! My girls are next to me. They loved being on camera. I'm sure they will be beside themselves when the show airs. (Which will be in the fall time, I'll know in September what the air date will be.)
Behind me, the camera man, director, sound guy and producer. All a hard working and VERY patient bunch! (is it just me, Mom, or does that sound guy look like uncle Geary?)
Favorite lines from the day, "do that MTV camera angle." "Smiles and Styles, Heather, smiles and styles." "Perfect, now let's do it again." and from me, "what do you want me to say again?"
This is me putting my foot down telling the director I will not make silly faces into the camera. Okay, that's what I wish I were doing! More than likely, I was saying, okay sure, more goofy, no problem. Whatever you say, anything to be in front of the camera!
This year has been filled with so many fun adventures, I can't wait to see what happens next!

hahahahhaha, that is so cool. I laughed out loud at your line about putting your foot down about the silly antics. I thought, "yeah right!"
Fun fun fun and I'm so thrilled your girls got to be a part of the action.

Just awesome Heather!! So much fun! I can totally picture your day in front of my inner eye, just wonderful :-)

Wow! I watch this show all the time, I wish you could have told them that all those silly camera angles make me motion sick! When is your segment going to air? Now, did you design jewlery or the card? Sorry, I just re-entered blog land after a busy deadline was finished. I am so excited for you!

Hi Monica,
I know they are crazy with the angles aren't they! It won't air until the fall, and then I'll let everyone and their brother know!!!
I did my dragonfly for the first part and my mermaid card for the encore at the end of the show...pretty exciting stuff.
