How do we even put up with the mischievous acts of our younger siblings?
My little brother Ray would always put his foot in front of the door that he'd pull open and when it smacked his foot he'd pretend he really hit his head. Of course, this was at grocery stores, Walmart, etc. So everyone around would look on with concern, is he okay, while I quickly ducked into the store pretending I didn't know him! Mischief maker.
This sketch is from an assignment I'm currently working on about a little sister pestering her brother to play a guessing game. I'll post the finished one later this weekend.
Mischief, this week's topic for Illustration Friday, just barely making it it there!

really nice expresions, especially the little boy's, I can just see him thinking "oh no you again, I'd rather read", but like also that he's turned around looking at her shows he's not ignoring her but still attentive to pesky little sister. really nice.

How well I remember Ray running into doors. You ran, I had I had to stay being the Mom. I used to push the side of his head and say "yes, he's ok".
The brother's features really capture how he is feeling about being interrupted.
The sister's features captures of look "boy have I got a game for you". Good job Heather.
Love Mom
