Shipwreck Beads

Need a bead?  Shipwreck Beads probably has it.  With a catalog that has over 900 pages, they have your beading needs covered!  They also have an online shop that is just as impressive.  Their website has a great online gallery featuring their customers beaded creations along with some very helpful resources, like this seed bead chart.  The bead mixtures look like fun and could spark some creativity.

Amaco

Another wonderful sponsor has joined the Bead Cruise!  AMACO is the American Art Clay Company. They have been modeling imagination since 1919.  They offer an impressive array of clays, including polymer clay in Fimo Classic and Soft.  You can find polymer clay books and tools along with a great selection of sculpting and craft supplies.

I love the bead rollers.  Want perfectly shaped polymer clay beads every time? Then you'll need a few of these!

Cindy's Crafts

Have you ever been on vacation, wandering through the streets and found a little shop tucked away in the corner?  In this hidden oasis you find books you've been searching for, discover little treasures that you know are perfect for your next beading project and prices that make you want to get one of everything?

Well, welcome to Cindy's Crafts and her book and bead sale on her Picture Trail site.  I think Cindy carries just about every beading book out there, and if she doesn't have it, she'll get it for you! Seed beads, findings and tools are also to be find on both her sites.  Cindy offers a newsletter at Yahoo with weekly sales on books and beading supplies.  Sign up to keep up with all her great deals.  You guessed it, we are proud to have Cindy join us as another one of our generous Bead Cruise sponsors!

Foxden Designs

Foxden_large_header_2

Foxden Designs carries the full line of Miyuki Delica Beads, all 989 colors!  I'd say it's a Miyuki paradise with every size and shape of seed bead available in a large range of colors.  They also offer basic supplies, like needles and a rainbow of C-Lon Thread.

They have a Delica Durablity Chart that I found very useful.  And being the customer service friendly bead supplier that they are, Foxden also offers their beads in larger quantities for those of us who need to buy our beads in bulk!

Ahoy there Foxden, welcome to the Bead Cruise Sponsor list!

Sova-Enterprises

How to store all those wonderful beads?  The good folks at Sova-Enterpise have come up with a creative and visually appealing bead storage system.  The Bead Pavilion is quickly becoming a favorite among beaders.

You can read all about how much Beverly (one of our Bead Cruise instructors) is enjoying her system.  The Pavilion is my favorite from Sova, but they also have products for beaders on the go, such as the Bead N' Go Trays. You can find a full range of beading and crafting supplies on their site. Welcome aboard Sova-Enterprises, we appreciate you as your latest Bead Cruise sponsor!

Creative Impressions In Clay

Heartsface_1Bright and funky, to subtle and sophisticated, Tari Sasser of Creative Impressions in Clay is an artist with many voices.   Her buttons were recently featured in Belle Armoire Magazine. A little exploring on her website and you'll soon discover why.  Tari's work is featured in fine fiber shops across the county and will be available at Bead & Button this year.

No matter what wearable art project you are creating you'll find something to fit your style at Creative Impressions in clay.  Here are a few of my favorites from Tari's collection:
